Lebron debuted the new look Tune-Squad unis for his Uninterrupted ‘empowerment brand’. The uniforms are a departure from the original white uniforms worn by Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes gang during the 1990s. However the orange circles of the Looney Tunes logo are still part the uniform.

Space Jam was a wildly popular film in 1996 that starred Michael Jordan, Bugs Bunny, and the entire Looney Tunes gang as they teamed up in an interplanetary basketball game to save the universe against the basketball team known as Monstars, comprised of evil aliens who have stolen the basketball skills of popular NBA stars such as Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson, Charles Barkley, Muggsy Bogues, and Shawn Bradley.

Since Space Jam, Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck haven’t been part of the cultural zeitgeist as other popular characters such as Mickey Mouse from Disney or even Elmo from Sesame Street.

Space Jam: A New Legacy has the potential to vault the beloved characters of Looney Tunes right back into the national consciousness. With the star power of Lebron James and his influence in entertainment with his Springhill Entertainment company, Space Jam: A New Legacy is poised to entertain a new generation with the magic of Looney Tunes and basketball.
